The implementation of fixed asset accounting is presented in the BSI system by the reference model 'Fixed Assets'.

With the help of the system, it is possible to manage operations with fixed assets, information, and costs related to fixed assets, intangible assets, and inventory items.

ModelNon-current assetscovers all stages of the life cycle of fixed assets. Among them are the main ones: acquisition (including as part of budget items for calculating the need for fixed assets and MRO), use, depreciation, making management decisions regarding transfer, etc.

The acquisition and commissioning of non-current assets is carried out in accordance with accounting requirements in Ukraine and IFRS in terms of accumulation of acquisition costs. The system handles the formation of a purchase request, approval of the request by management, processing of the invoice, and preparation of a package of payment, tax, and shipping documents.

The recording of fixed assets can be carried out either through the warehouse or directly by the consignment note. In the case of simultaneous recording of several fixed assets, the system will automatically generate n number of FA cards based on the single description of the FA entered. The functional capability of assembling and disassembling FAs, such as creating (breaking down) a new FA from several existing ones, is possible, with the depreciation of each asset included in the set being calculated by its own method.

In the reference modelNon-current assetsThree parallel accounting of the same asset has been implemented: managerial, financial, and tax accounting, and except for the asset code, all other characteristics in these accounts may differ. The formation of accounting entries is carried out automatically (according to previously created standard operations in managerial, financial, and tax accounting).

For each fixed asset, the system keeps track of its location and the materially responsible person.BSIIt keeps a complete history of movements for each type of accounting. When an employee, materially responsible person (MRP), or user of non-current assets is dismissed, the system generates a transfer-acceptance act, performs a group movement in the accounting, and can, upon request, print an attachment to the clearance sheet listing all valuables in the possession of the applicant. The calculation of the value of the transferred assets is performed automatically by the system.

The model contains the necessary number of depreciation methods. If it is required to change or supplement the Customer's list, the system provides the ability to configure the formula according to which depreciation will be calculated. For manufacturing enterprises, the systemBSIallows the use of depreciation calculation depending on the year of manufacture, or the degree of equipment usage (production depreciation).

The system also provides all the features for conducting both annual and selective inventories: printing registers for materially responsible persons, for structural subdivisions, the ability to make changes to the fixed asset card, etc. For each asset, a significant amount of predefined types of information can be stored, for example, information about acquisition and maintenance, insurance, as well as arbitrary information defined by the user, ranging from text descriptions to arbitrary numerical values. Analytics, the values of which are defined by the Customer, can be used to analyze the use of fixed assets.

Reflection of consolidated data on depreciation calculation, acquisition, and disposal of fixed assets in the modular unitFinanceIt is carried out using standard entries from the reference book of standard entries. Information about fixed assets and accounts in the system is entered only once, which allows you to significantly save time and money, especially when it is necessary to keep track of numerous and complex business transactions on a daily basis, as well as to update or correct information about fixed assets, for example, depreciation rates and account numbers.
